Aftercare Instructions
If a protective film was applied after your tattoo session, please follow these guidelines:
- Keep the film on for 2–3 days.
- You can shower while the film is on, but avoid taking baths.
- You may notice fluid containing bodily fluids and ink pooling under the film; this is normal and not a problem.
- If you experience excessive itching or skin irritation, remove the film.
- After removing the film, gently but thoroughly wash your tattoo, and then apply ointment (preferably one containing antibiotics) both morning and night for 4–5 days.
- Continue to moisturize for about one month, until the tattoo is fully healed
- Avoid pools, the ocean, and onsen until your tattoo has completely healed.
- Avoid sunburn during the healing process—and even after your tattoo is fully healed, we do not recommend tanning to preserve its quality.
We offer touch-ups for any color fading or blurring starting one month after your session. If you have any concerns, feel free to reach out to us anytime.
